We headed back to the cabin to celebrate July 4 with Grandma Geralyn, Grandpa Mike, Auntie Emmy, Tyler and Erik. This is actually the first time any of us have celebrated the 4th at the cabin.
Mason made his first and maybe last swim in the middle of the lake. After a freak out a few minutes into his swim (he claims a fish touched him - I would have freaked out too), he actually was traumatized for several weeks following and had a hard time swimming in Grandma's pool even. Luckily he recovered and still enjoys swimming.
Besides swimming in the lake, we enjoyed 2 fireworks shows compliments of Erik (and Emmy) and lots of snacks.
We hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July.
