Group Projects

Throughout the year, the Kindergarteners have been asked to decorate a turkey, christmas tree, snowman and most recently a butterfly at home with their families. Mason, Cooper and I had fun decorating the butterfly tonight and according to Mason, it is the "best" butterfly. I couldn't agree more.

Special Book

After the Spring Program, the Kindergarteners gave their parents, more specifically their moms, a special book they have been working on. The dedication is my favorite part.

Kindergarten Spring Program

This afternoon we headed to Meadowview for a delightful Kindergarten Spring Program. Mason had quiet the fan base with seven people in the crowd, including Mom, Dad, Grandma Geralyn, Grandpa Mike, Auntie Aly, Grandma Brenda and Grandpa Frank. It was so much better than I anticipated and was quite proud of Mason's lack of stage fright being in the front row and all. The set list included My Mother is a Baker, This Old Earth, Chicken Dance (fabulous), I'm a Little Teapot (with a twist) and One Small Voice.

Cooper Turns 2

We can hardly believe it, but today our Coop turned 2. He had been pretty excited leading up to his big day, but was especially thrilled to wake up to presents downstairs. We had a Sesame Celebration in his honor with our families. Cooper was quite excited to have everyone at his house and be the center of attention. He was of course spoiled with lots of presents, which included lots of fun outside toys (i.e. sandbox, trike, picnic table, scooter, pool and sprinkler - just to name a few). Our post party included going out to dinner just the four of us and renting a movie (Alpha and Omega). Cooper made it less than 20 minutes into the movie before passing out on the couch, which is quite very rare occurrence. I am pretty sure he had a great birthday, I know we had a great time celebrating with him!

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Coop's special day!

Wow...
