Happy New Year!
We spent New Years Eve at the Winebergs in celebration of the New Year and Mandy's Birthday. After a feast of tacos and some play time, we broke out Dance Central for fun by both young and the not as young. We were thankful again to end the year with a great night with friends!

A Winter Break Escape
Even though we did not have the Winter Break I had originally planned on, we were able to skip work and daycare for a day at the Children's Museum with our friends (Henry & Jack, Ava & Liam, Addie & Max and moms Mandy, Brie and Angie), a much needed escape.

Christmas 2011
We had many wonderful Christmas celebrations and got to spend time with so much of our families. This year was especially special now that Cooper has fully embraced the holiday and truly represented the magic that is Christmas.

Holiday Crafts
Not only did the boys bring home some handmade ornaments for the tree....
but we also made some crafts this year for many of the wonderful teachers we are so lucky to have for the boys.

The Gingerbread Kid Caper
This holiday season seemed to be extra busy and go by extremely fast. To be honest, I was having a hard time getting into the holiday spirit, until....we stepped away from the hustle and bustle of the season to visit Meadowview for a special First Grade performance, The Gingerbread Kid Caper. Mrs. Heuser's First Graders did an amazing job in what I quickly named the "best play ever." He had quite the fan base with Mom, Dad, Grandma Geralyn, Auntie Aly, Grandma Brenda and Grandpa Frank in the audience. We all throughly enjoyed the performance and especially Mason's scene stealer line "Me too. He's a spunky little guy."

First Grade Basketball
Mason participated in basketball again this year. The teams included both 1st and 2nd graders. This year Mason was especially excited because Corey was one of the coaches. We had a lot of fun watching our peanut play and look forward to next year.
Santa Clause Is Coming To Town
This year both boys were enthralled with Santa. We went to simply peek at Santa the day before Thanksgiving, but Santa was not busy so came over to talk to the boys and gave them some Christmas Tree Peeps. From that point, the boys were hooked on Santa and Christmas. We went back for a visit closer to Christmas so they could have one last chance to talk with the big guy, who insured them they would have surprises on Christmas.
