Beach Time

As part of Auntie Rachel's 30th Birthday Celebration, we headed down to a beach in Red Wing for some fun in the sun on this very hot day.  The boys had a blast paying in the water!

Team Royals - First Grade Baseball

Mason headed out for another season of baseball this summer.  He was on team Royals this year with Coach Corey.  Mason improved so much throughout the season and we had a lot of fun watching!

Father's Day Weekend 2012

We got to spend time with both the Wadley and Voth families over the Father's Day Weekend.  The boys banked some pool time at Grandpa Mike and Grandma Geralyn's where we celebrated with the entire Wadley crew.

Best pic of the Summer, so far:)

On Sunday, we had a morning celebration with Corey complete with gifts and monkey bread.

We had Grandpa Frank, Grandma Brenda, Auntie Rachel, Auntie Kari and Samantha over to our house in the afternoon for some grilling.

Regis Valleyfair Day 2012

The Voth family headed out once again to Valleyfair and once again had a blast.  Mason & Corey even went on the High Rollers (aka the white roller coaster).  Corey said he freaked out through most of the ride, but got off at the end and said "that was awesome."  Mason gets to go again in August with his Summer Camp friends, but Cooper is already waiting for next year.

Tooth Fairy

The last day of school also brought another Mason milestone, the tooth fairy.  After weeks of wiggling, he finally lost his first tooth at school, which means he got to go to the nurse's office to get a special treasure chest to hold his tooth.  He really wanted the treasure chest, so it all worked out at the last second.  The tooth fairy left a generous $5 special reward for his first tooth along with a note, which outlines the payment plan for future teeth:)

Last Day of 1st Grade

I am not quite sure where the school year went, but it flew by and today is Mason's last day of 1st Grade.  I cannot believe he is going to be in 2nd grade.  We had a great 1st Grade year with a great 1st Grade teacher, Mrs. Heuser.  I cannot tell you how grateful I am for Mason to have had her for a teacher this year.  She retired today and we are bummed that Cooper will never get the chance to be her student.  Mason really enjoys school but is ready for the "Amazing Race" Summer Camp at Anna's Bananas before he officially because a 2nd grader.

Meadowview hosted a track meet today.  First graders ran the 50M, 100M and the 400M.  Mason and Corey bonded over the 400M:)

Look at that form:)
