The Voth Family made our annual trip to the Minnesota State Fair to kick off Labor Day weekend and the end of summer. We had a great time eating, Giant Slide, Ole Ye Mill, eating, tractors, Legos, eating, seeing animals, police dog demonstration, and yes, eating.

Happy 8th Birthday Mason!
I know that I say this everything birthday, but serious, how is Mason 8. Mason's birthday celebrations spanned over a week this year. Someone was pretty happy to be the center of attention for that long.
Friends Party - Grand Slam, Burnsville, MN
Mason celebrated his upcoming birthday with a few friends from both Anna's and Meadowview (and Cooper too). He had a great time!

Family Party - Mason's House, Farmington, MN
Mason was once again excited to celebrate his birthday, this time with his family.
Mason's Birthday
To Mason's surprise, Mom and Dad took the day off of work to spend with him on his birthday (we had better plans lined up, but Coop's staples threw a wrench in those, regardless, we had a fun backup plan). We started his birth-day with a family breakfast at Perkins where the birthday boy devoured his favorite Perky Bear Pancakes. After dropping Coop off at Anna's, Corey and I brought Mason to his favorite waterpark in the Twin Cities, Cascade Bay in Eagan, for an afternoon of swimming, waterslides and mini golf. After Cascade Bay, we picked up Cooper and ate dinner at Chipotle, the birthday boy's choice. We topped off the day with a stop at DQ for one final birthday treat.

Staples (Again)
After a fall from a toddler slide in our backyard onto the rocks, Coop ended up with 5 staples in the back of his head, to top the 2 that Mason had in the back of his head earlier in the year. Keeping my fingers crossed that he (and Mason too) can stay injury free for awhile!

Tiger T-Ball - Team Snails
After years of watching Mason, it was finally Cooper's turn to play a sport and was SO excited to play t-ball this summer. Despite some instances of silliness, playing with dirt or not paying attention, he did a great job and had a lot of fun. He even got to be on a team with his Anna's best friend, Logan. He was most excited on the last night of t-ball to get his first trophy. He is ready for t-ball again next summer, but more excited right now to play soccer in the fall.
